Couldn’t call myself a fan of Halloween, but of course I have nothing against it =) It’s great that there’s a reason to celebrate something in the sad autumn time. By the way, in Rostov the golden autumn should come later than in St. Petersburg or Moscow, so by the end of October it should be beautiful there.
Thank you very much for the news! I remember how V.V. Kara-Murza was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in absentia. It’s great that he finally received it in person. I’ve read how he talked in an interview about how he learned about his award from a lawyer and about his feelings about it. I try to follow what Kara-Murza, Yashin, Pivovarov say — some news leaks into jail =)
In St. Petersburg, snow used to fall in early November, and quite heavily. But now, in the middle of the month, it is still quite warm, although there are frosts at night. We’ll see when real winter comes.
