Klokov Sergey Valentinovich (Vedel Semiel Valterovich) was born on May 18, 1984 in the city of Bucha, Kyiv region of Ukraine, studied in the city of Irpen, Kyiv region, citizen of Russia, resident of Moscow. Captain of the internal service, technician (driver) of the reserve control point of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for Moscow, higher education, married, has two young children. On charges of committing crimes under paragraph "d" of Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, he was sentenced to 7 years in a general regime colony. On August 21, 2023, the appellate court upheld the verdict unchanged, on May 29, 2024, the cassation court returned the case to the appeal for a new trial. On July 23, 2024, during a second appeal review, the verdict was overturned. Imprisoned since March 16, 2022.

I no longer know what is the «right» way to celebrate it. I think everyone must decide for themselves what they want to associate with this day, with these days, based on their personal history and the history of their family. Please send my warmest regards to all our people — wishing everyone success, well-being, kindness, and of course, a speedy return to peace.
Russian society is undergoing a great trial. Many do not realize it, yet indifference to the evil that is happening destroys a nation spiritually and mentally. Wars are nothing but the worst manifestation of human actions. At least, that’s what the witnesses of those events told me — those who did not want to recall that period of their lives. They said the most important thing was that it should never happen again. For them, this holiday always came with sorrow and tears in their eyes.
As for me, there are no particular successes. I’m waiting for a new indictment from the prosecutor’s office — with even more contrived and twisted absurdities. I worry a lot about my children — how they are doing, living so long without me, growing up, developing. I think this time will always be associated for me with a huge tragedy in my family — with separation from loved ones and losses.
