Nasryev Roman Raifovich was born on January 15, 1995, a resident of the city of Bakal, Chelyabinsk region, musician, member of the rock band “Room 32”, served as a driver for the private security of the Russian Guard with the rank of senior police sergeant, married, father of two minor children. On April 10, 2023, on charges of committing crimes under paragraph “a” of Part 2 of Art. 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“a terrorist act committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy or by an organized group”) and Art. 205.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“training, knowingly carried out for the student for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities”) to 19 years in prison. Imprisoned since October 11, 2022.

I’m doing more or less okay. You probably already know that the appeal has passed. Soon we will leave Correctional Facility-2 to serve the remaining 2 years in a closed prison. I would be very happy and grateful if our correspondence does not come to an end.

I want to express my gratitude to all the people who have supported us all this time. Thank you for the postcards and warm letters. While in detention, I finally realized what true solidarity is. Thank you for understanding the genuine intentions of people to change something for the better. Thank you for not being afraid to have your own opinion. I wish everyone peace and freedom. I have always thought that there are many good people, and I hope that is the case.
