Mikhail Aleksandrovich Krieger was born on February 23, 1960, a political activist, an excavator operator by profession, later engaged in rental of construction equipment and excavation work, and more recently, delivering groceries in his own car. On charges of committing crimes under Part 2 of Art. 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“public justification of terrorism using the Internet, up to 7 years in prison) and paragraph “a” of Part 2 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“public incitement of hatred and enmity against a social group with the threat of violence, using the Internet information and telecommunications network”) was sentenced to 7 years in a general regime colony. The appellate court upheld the verdict. Imprisoned since November 3, 2022.
