Anna, Charles, good day!

I’m worried about you because of the constant news about drone and UAV attacks. I’ve been in a regular cell for five days now, and of course, I’m following the news — some of it has been truly shocking. I didn’t understand the children’s military parade in Primorye — why are they militarizing kids, and for what purpose? War doesn’t have a woman’s face, and certainly not a child’s — or am I just out of touch and mistaken?

In my opinion, artificial intelligence should not influence art. I believe it’s important to leave the creation of beauty to humans, entrusting AI instead with dull, dangerous, or harmful for people aspects of life.

They showed Gostiny Dvor in St. Petersburg. My heart ached. Lately, the longing has been suffocating — mostly for the children, then for my pets, and, of course, for the most beautiful city in Russia.

The world is shaking from yet another dangerous conflict between nuclear powers. People are losing their minds over nonsense, killing each other over worthless things. Let them try to bring back even one child who died from a bullet or a shell. They can’t.

With my warmest wishes, Maria
