Dear ..., Charles, hello! Oh, how I felt for the sweet little «sausage» (no offense intended, I mean it in the most affectionate and delicious way) that got trapped in a sleeve. Good thing Charles isn’t claustrophobic—I would have died in a similar situation.
On December 23, I laughed to tears at what seemed like a trivial sight: a police officer untied the earflaps of his uniform hat and fastened them under his chin. Now I understand why they wear this accessory in its «unfolded» state even in the harshest frost and blizzards :). The guys clearly don’t want to earn a clownish reputation. And that’s a shame :), because it’s such a kind-hearted profession—it brings joy to people, creates magical transformations, and decorates faces with smiles.
My wizards don’t wear makeup and red noses. My wizards—the ones who constantly inspire me to work on myself, to write poetry, and who strengthen my faith in the best with each passing day—are you ... and all the like-minded people who have been providing multifaceted support for the past 2 years and 9 months. I’m writing this surrounded by postcards with landscapes, cats, and dogs :). How is Charles getting along with the whiskered and striped ones? One of my favorite postcards is a photo of a bird feeder with two sparrows, a titmouse, and a powerful «guardian» in the form of a plump ginger cat. Standing out from the collection is a bunny from Ksenia Fadeeva and a New Year’s cityscape from Lilia Chanysheva—for quite understandable and objective reasons, the girls’ gifts are especially dear to me. The crown jewel of my collection is a photo with a personalized inscription and autographs from DDT and Yuri Shevchuk. Honestly, I adore every single postcard :), I cherish them all.
... Brain rot has long since consumed the institutions of power in a certain fairy-tale country run by greedy puppeteers, cunning foxes, and blindfolded cats. Cats again... and once again, that country is ahead of the rest of the world...
Sending you and Charles a big hug—wishing you and your like-minded friends peace, love, and health.
